Anthony “AJ” DiValerio III is a Philadelphia-based entrepreneur, strategist, and operator at the intersection of innovation, technology, and social impact. He is the Founder and CEO of Open Admissions, an AI-powered edtech platform transforming the higher education admissions landscape, and the Co-Founder & Executive Director of Friends for Good (FFG), a nonprofit that mobilizes young professionals to serve Philadelphia communities in the most need.
AJ’s career spans leadership roles in high-growth startups and global companies, including Oura Ring, ARC, and ViewTag, where he drove corporate strategy, product innovation, and market expansion, securing multimillion-dollar partnerships, scaling user adoption, and leading fundraising efforts. He specializes in reimagining business processes, building cross-functional teams, and forging strategic partnerships that accelerate growth and unlock new opportunities.
A graduate of Cornell University with a background and degree in architecture, AJ began his career designing large-scale projects before pivoting into product innovation and technology-driven disruption. His work has taken him across industries, from travel technology to blockchain and AI, always anchored in a passion for simplifying complexity and turning roadblocks into opportunities.
Outside of business, AJ channels his commitment to impact through philanthropy and mentorship. At FFG, he has helped mobilize thousands of volunteers, raise and deploy hundreds of thousands of dollars, and deliver critical resources to underserved communities.
